The improvement to the park include a ground level trampoline.
The work includes installing new play equipment and fencing. Aimed at improving the experience for all ages who use the park.
Designed the be inclusive and accessible the new equipment aims to cater to all abilities and will add to the current area.
Among the new additions visitors can expect a seated carousel, a ground trampoline and a pendulum rope swing. The current swings are also being replaced as part of the plan.

The toddler area is also getting new fencing after calls from locals.
Councillor Seamus Quilty, Portfolio Holder for Environment, said: "The Moatfield Recreation Ground is a key open space in the heart of Bushey. These improvements will create a great place for families with children of all ages to get outside and have fun without having to spend anything.
"Our aim is to provide interesting equipment and an exciting environment, whilst being inclusive for all abilities, to encourage physical and social play."
The works should be finished by the end of September.
